This workshop is designed for makers and small business owners who want to improve their product photography for marketing, social media, websites and online sales.

Workshop Format

Hour 1: Guided Tutorial
Learn the fundamentals of product photography, including composition, lighting, styling, and how to get the most out of your phone camera.

Hour 2: Hands-On Practice
Put your new skills into action as you photograph your own products. You'll receive guidance and feedback throughout the session, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions and work through specific challenges you may be facing when photographing your pieces.

By the end of the workshop, you'll have practical techniques you can immediately apply to create more engaging and professional images of your work.

Phone Photography Workshop for Potters!

Limited to 8 participants

Class fee includes tutorial and workshop notes.

This tutorial is to help businesses look at their advertising images in a more creative way and learn simple and cost effective ways to take photos using just a phone.

Throughout the 1.5 hours tutorial, we will discuss different ways to photograph products and the ways to make your product have a more real feeling than just an image on a screen.

What happens if I have to cancel my booking?

WITH IN 48 HOURS OF THE EVENT: If you need to cancel, please get in touch right away so we can try and re-sell your spot. If it is within 48 hours of the event, you will forfeit your ticket price and any card fees paid.

LONGER THAN 48 HOURS UNTILL The EVENT: If you cancel before the 48 hour cut-off period, you will receive a refund for the ticket price, less any card fees incurred. Kirstie-Lee will not refund any processing fees incurred for the sale of the ticket.

What if I'm running late to the workshop?

Please let me know as soon as you realise you'll be a bit late, we can fill you in when you arrive, or after the class if needed. I can also email work notes if time doesn't allow to go over what you missed.

Will food be provided during a workshop?

No, please eat beforehand, as bringing food into the workshop may damage people's property.

Can I make social media footage during the workshop?

You're welcome to take photos and videos during the workshop, as long as no other peoples' faces or voices can be seen or heard without their direct consent. Photos of the teacher, Kirstie-lee is perfectly ok!
